Every quarter, council members gather for a 3-5 hour session of energizing and engaging discussions on key issues in a confidential setting. The meetings allow peers from different organizations and industries to discuss current topics and identify opportunities to positively impact their organization based on prior experiences from other group members.

Get to the Root of Your Challenges With Our 6 Step Process

Before every peer discussion, we ask every member to let us know what their current challenges are. Every member votes on which issue they’d like to discuss in-depth.

Our discussion follows a six-step process to identify why the issue is important, what solutions have already been tried, and how the group can assist. We then dig deep to understand what’s truly causing the issue at hand – and whether we’re treating the symptoms or the root cause.

Finally, we brainstorm solutions based on members’ past experiences and determine specific action steps to resolve the issue.

Discuss Ideas Confidentially While Growing Through Peer Accountability

You can’t solve your challenges unless you’re able to talk about them openly – but CHROs deal with a range of sensitive issues. Every HREC event is a closed-door, confidential discussion to give our members a private space to think out loud and share ideas.

Chapters are member-driven, with membership carefully curated by the HREC board to meet the specific needs of the group and ensure there are no direct competitors in your chapter.

Lastly, you can’t grow without accountability. As an HREC member, you’re expected to leave your ego at the door so you can be open and accountable. All members are equal. We are committed to challenging one another to be the best HR executives we can be.
